What's the difference between the two kits?

Both kits include the same gear for 12 kids. The difference is how much we do for you:

DIY $40 You wash and return everything.
Dirty Bash $80 We deliver, collect, and handle 100% of the washing.
What are the pick-up and return times?

The standard hire window is Friday 4 PM → Monday 10 AM. A $10/day late fee applies after Monday. Ask about our Sunday Night Porch Drop option in your booking notes.
Is it really cheaper than buying disposables?

Yes — most parents spend $60–$100+ at Kmart or the supermarket on single-use items that go straight to landfill after two hours. Our DIY Kind Party Kit starts at just $40 — a more affordable option that skips the waste entirely. No disposables, no last-minute dashes between Kmart or supermarket aisles. Just everything you need, ready to go, and made to be reused again and again.
Is the $30 bond refundable?

Yes! Your $30 bond is fully refunded within 24 hours of kit inspection. Or convert it into a $40 credit for your next booking — that's $10 free!
What if something gets lost or broken?

Small items (cutlery): $5 each. Major items (plates, cups, crates): $15 each. Linens permanently stained: $15 each. Please — no slime, glitter glue, or permanent markers on the tablecloths!

What if I only have 6 children — or more than 12?

No problem either way! Each hire is one kit — there's no per-child pricing. If you have 6 kids, just use what you need and leave the rest packed away.

If you're expecting more than 12 children, let us know in the notes when you book and we'll be in touch. We can usually work with your requirements — there may be a small extra cost per additional item, and we'll advise you before confirming.
Can I list my own kit on Kind Kits?

Yes! If you run your own reusable party kit hire, we'd love to have you in the collective. Scroll down to the "List Your Kit" section and fill in the form — we'll be in touch within 48 hours.

Please note: As a listed hirer you'll manage bookings directly with customers, so you'll need to include accurate contact details (phone number and email) so families can reach you. You're responsible for your own hire agreements, pricing, and availability.

Important: As a listed hirer, you'll manage your own kit hire directly with customers. Listing costs $15, which covers active promotion of your kit across our social media and any community comms we run.
